DIY Class

Dear all,


Dah cukup 5 org dh for Class this weekend. The following is the details of the class:-

Date: 15th of August
Time : 10 am-2 pm (sila bagi extra 1-2 hrs for injury time, selalu nya mmg terlajak la!)

Barang2 yg perlu dibawa :
1. Kain jersey 0.7/0.8m + awning material - boleh bawa kain sendiri or beli apa2 kain yg available masa kat umah i nanti- pls ensure tht it's a jersey that can use black thread coz that's the colour of thread for the class nnti.
2. Mesin jahit portable (to beat the queueing time)
3. Bobbin with black thread
4. Thread - black
5. Gunting kain
6. Kapur lukis/washable pen for kain
7. Jarum peniti- yg ada bulat2 kat hujung tu, so if terjatuh, leh nmpk...anak2 kita kang terpijak lak jarum ni if tak nmpk.
8. Measuring tape
9. Jarum jahit biasa
10. Penetas (penting ni for beginners!)
11. Twin needle (if nak finishing cun le)- sapa yg nak order, pls let me know, RM18 for 4mm frm Craftworld
12. Jarum emas no. 14 or no. 11 ( i ada both available, u can buy from me nnti)

Regarding DIY Tudung Class

Ladies,

Yg akan attend class on the 21st Feb nnti, pls email me and lemme know what food ur bringing so I leh update the food list.

Im not making it compulsory for u to buy the SK frm me psl ada antara students ni yg dh eprnah beli SK frm me awal2 dulu. So those who are really newbies, SK tak pernah beli seme, u hv a choice of purchasing the SK from me, pls refer to SK nya label to know what contains in an SK. Sbb yg will be provided for the class would be template ariana and its awning + interface sahaja. You need to bring ur own jersey and awning material. And if u want to copy the other templates, pls bring ur own brown paper - 1 tak cukup ek! Sbb byk templates!

Other items u need to bring are :-
1. Gunting kain
2. Kapur for lukis atas kain, or washable pen for kain
3. Benang (if ur kain is not black or white, pls bring 3 extra benang for jahit tepi...takut tuan umah tak de benang jahit tepi yg match dgn ur kain).
4. Peniti
5. Jarum ( ni for yg jahit tangan. yg nak guna sewing machine, pls also sediakan bobbin with the same benang).


Ada yg nak beli kain during the gathering, only problem is takut nnti u tak de benang yg match dgn the kain psl u dont know yet what colour of kain ur gonna buy! And ada ke awning yg nak match dgn kain yg u pilih tu? nampak cam remeh...but kain dgn umatching benang is a definite no-no for me! But if u all sanggup pakai tudung cam tu, up to you ye. Sendiri nak pakai kan...hehehhehe!

So pls take note!

Itinerary on the 21st of February, 2009

The itinerary for the above is as follows:-

10am - 11am Shopping session : jerseys + awnings
11am - 12.30pm DIY tudung session
12.30 - 1.30pm Break/Lunch
1.30 - 2.30pm Continuation of DIY Tudung session
2.30 - 3.30pm Lepak2, borak2, shopping2 lagi


For yg dtg nk nengok2 kain, leh la dtg 10am if bangun pagi, otherwise dtg later pun tak pe. But yg dtg for the class, not later than 11am eh, psl cikgu2 will start class on time (if depa tak leka menyopping le!). Cepat start, cepat habis, cepat leh melaram dgn tudung baru! Cepat gak tuan rumah dpt umah dia balik!! For students, pas habis kelas...sila2 la kemas kawasan belajar tu. Ramai2 kemas, senang hati Tuan Rumah tak cam tongkang pecah umah dia. Next time, ada la selera dia nak host umah dia lagi!

Yg dtg bertandang aje, nak suka2 bergather2 sambil nengok2 kain, copy2 templates...dtg la ikut suka hati...preferably before 12 noon...so makanan seme dh tiba tuk seme berlunch nnti ek!:P

Gathering cum Class DIY Tudung, 21st of February, 2009.

Dear ladies,

Ramai yg terlepas attend classes before this, maka inilah peluang u all to attend a class from which skills many have reaped tremendous benefits!

There will be a fee of RM20 per participant for the class, as a token to show our appreciation to the tuan rumah yg rumahnya complete with sewing machine and mesin jahit tepi (tuan rumah tak mintak pun, kita yg nk hulurkan), as well as untuk cikgu2 yg sanggup dtg dari jauh and dekat, and luangkan masa mereka mengajar u all nnti. The fee will also cover the costs of templates and interface, and drinks.So the fees ni kira token aje tau, if real fees, it should cost much, much more than this!

And for those yg nak copy templates yg lain2...Hajabi oblong, Hajabi berbutang, tudung Jakarta, Yelawarrah T-large, tudung Siti...jgn lupa dtg dgn brown paper masing2!

Disebabkan ini also a gathering tuk DIY tudung enthusiasts, and peluang u all merembat kain2 jerseys yg akan I bawa from Jakarta, maka ini also dikira a pot-luck gathering session! Mmg enjoy sungguh the last few pot-luck sessions we had at my house...sedap seme food yg kawan2 bawa!! So this gathering is also open to yg bukan dtg for the class, so yg nk dtg tu jgn lupa bawa food eh. Homemade is better...tak kira la apa pun! Beli pun ok if bz sgt tak sempat nak masak kat rumah! Organiser ni bwk nasi goreng la ek, and paper plates and paper cups! Do sound out to me sapa yg nak mai bersuka2, so I leh budget berapa plates n cups nak bwk!

Disebabkan takut tempat belajar is limited, the class is opened to only 15 students. Fees must be paid when booking of place is made, psl we dont want any last minute cancellations seme, fees paid are non-refundable. If ada yg tak leh dtg, u all kena cari org tuk ganti ur tempat if u want ur participation fees back. Pls submit format email with money trfr notice. Only booking via format email with proof of payment will be entertained.
